Create the design

I will meet with you in person or via phone to get an idea of your personal esthetic, the dimensions, and the style you are looking for.  Don't worry if you don't have idea ideas, I'll have enough for the both of us.  From there I will create a rough sketch of the design for you to approve.  Upon approval I will make a stained glass pattern.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does it take to commission a piece of art?

A: The length of time to complete a piece depends on the size and intricacy.  I try to complete all orders within 3-4 weeks, however, I can work on accelerated timelines if necessary.  Mosaic pieces generally take longer than stained glass due to the level of detail.

Q: How much does a custom piece of art cost?

A: Prices vary depending upon the size and intricacy of the design.  In general, stained glass is approximately $100/square foot and mosaics are around $150/square foot.

Q: How do I pay?

A: I accept cash, check, apple pay, and credit cards.  50% of the commission price is due upfront, then the remaining 50% upon delivery.  I can also accommodate payment plans.

Q: What are mosaics made out of?

A: Most of my mosaics are made from either stained glass, tile, or found objects.

Q: Can you help me learn how to make my own art?

A: Absolutely!  I have hourly and day rates for private lessons.  I also do workshops.

Q: Do you repair broken stained glass?

A: Generally no, unless it is my own creation.
